Room of Silence

Room of Silence

The Room of Silence is located in the cantilevered gable of the Central Building. It is over nine metres high at its highest point and is characteristic of the Libeskind building with its sloping walls and diamond-shaped windows. The room is freely accessible to students and staff and can be used for any kind of silence, prayer or contemplation. There are mats and carpets in the cupboards for this purpose, as well as an extendable altar. The room is also available for interfaith dialogue.
