Seminar room C40.154, with its sloping walls and large windows, is characteristic of the classrooms in the Central Building. There are 18 other seminar rooms in the Central Building, all equipped with beamers or screens and all the necessary technical connections. The rooms are generally designed for small seminar groups, as work at Leuphana is primarily done in small learning groups. This room, for example, has a maximum capacity of 40 people.

In addition to the seminar rooms, the Central Building houses laboratories, research institutes, and study rooms for students.
